Announcing a Community Drive to Help Rescue Animals

We hope your New Year is off to a great start! Starting the New Year is a great way to think about ways to give back to the community, and we wanted to make sure you knew about an amazing opportunity to help out your community in February.

We are currently starting a drive for local animal shelters like the Humane Society of Pikes Peak for towels, sheets, and blankets. The Humane Society and other area shelters doe incredible work helping out our community to rescue and find new homes for animals in the area, and they are in constant need of supplies like towels, blankets, and sheet to help care for animals in need.

Rescued animals are often in a state of stress, shock, injury, or dirtiness—and towels, blankets, and sheets offer rescue workers a great way to assist animals, calm them down, clean them, warm them up, and help them feel a bit more secure during the rescue and re-homing process.

Note: The shelters cannot accept hand towels, washcloths, quilts, comforters, or any blankets with batting or stuffing. So please keep this in mind when thinking through what kind of items you may like to donate.

We will announce a day in February where we will pick up the items from your house or apartment. The items can just be left at your front doors, and all you have to do is let Monica and Ryan know that you have items to pick up on that day.

The pick up day is to be determined—so please keep watch and we will update you when this is scheduled.

Thanks again for being awesome and helping out our community through your generous donations!
